Project Sandro was born as a part-live, part-electronic instrumental trio in 1998 simply named Sandro. Tracks were jerry-rigged onto ADAT using a combination of 4-tracks, samplers, and computers. The growing obsolescence of the ADAT format has prevented this earlier material from being released, but one of their goals is to release this work soon. Technical difficulties and painstaking processes have bred perseverance and allows the group to carry on. These days, Sandro survives as a duo. Now as Project Sandro, Tony Watson and Rollmottle create music that is a perfect union of their styles. Tony Watson's unmistakable drum production plus Rollmottle's penchant for ethereal synthesizers produces a familiar, yet undeniably unique sound. Take a listen.
